Against Atletico, Sevilla also finished the game with a red card. Pape Gueye was sent off 10 minutes before the end. Obviously he won’t play against Almeria on Sunday.

Almeria are a direct competitor for survival to Sevilla. This means that they will be extra motivated to take the win at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Almeria’s current shape is not good, too – they lost four of their last five games in La Liga. Last week they faced Villarreal at home, but the match ended with a 2-0 win for the Yellow Submarine. Almeria survived until the 76th minute, but at the end Villarreal scored twice and took the win.

The 21-years old El Bilal Toure remains Almeria’s best striker this season. He scored the winning goal against Barcelona and he has scored 6 goals since the start of the season. He’s having a great campaign so far.
